South Korean won – the official currency of South Korea. It is subdivided into 100 jeon. The international currency code of the South Korean won is KRW.

 

The South Korean was in circulation in the period 1902 - 1910.

Banknotes in circulation have nominal values of 1000, 5000, 10 000 and 50 000 won.

 

Coins are in denominations of 1, 5, 10, 50, 100 and 500 won.

 

Coins in circulation were minted in the period 1982-2006.
